I’m currently reading Robert Mondavi’s autobiography “Harvests of Joy: How the Good Life Became Great Business”. It is a really good book, thus far. Mondavi tells the story of his humble upbringing to how he became synonymous with the Napa Valley & its wine.

I wanted to share with you a poem that I came across a number of years ago that spotlighted what a true Italian-American really is. Per Se = WOW! I was so happy to eat 2 dishes I’ve heard so much about: “Oysters and Pearls” & “Coffee and Donuts”. What a dinner! We ate at 4 Thomas Keller restaurants in 2 weeks.
